Bamboo Tattoo

What is a bamboo tattoo?

"Bamboo tattoo" is a tattooing art form that originates from Thailand, among other places. In the past, tattoos were actually made with real "bamboo sticks," but today sterile disposable needles and metal rods are used.

At Bamboo Tattoos, tattooing is done entirely by hand, without the use of a tattoo machine.
There are differences between a machine-inflicted tattoo and a bamboo tattoo.
The needles of a tattoo machine penetrate the skin with at least 60 strokes per second, thus causing more damage to the skin than a hand-drawn tattoo.

Theoretically, you can go back out into the sun and water with your bamboo tattoo after just a short time.
The healing process is much faster compared to normal machine tattoos.

We would be happy to advise you individually in our studio and clarify any further questions with you.

Less painful

By tattooing by hand without using a machine, the needle does not penetrate the skin as often and most people feel less pain.

Heals faster

With a bamboo-style tattoo, your skin heals much faster because it is not as damaged as with traditional tattoos.

Saves time

Because it heals faster, you can go out into the sun or water much sooner.
Perfect for summer!
